FAQ's
Frequently Asled Question
Do I need a doctor’s order to schedule?
Yes—most imaging (MRI, CT, Ultrasound, X-ray, DEXA) requires a provider order. Upload it when booking or bring a copy.
How should I prepare for my exam?
X-ray: No prep. Remove metal.
CT (no contrast): Usually no prep.
CT (with contrast): No food 2–4 hrs; drink water; tell us about allergies/kidneys.
MRI: Remove all metal; follow any fasting instructions we give.
Ultrasound (abdomen): No food/drink (except water) 6–8 hrs.
Ultrasound (pelvis/OB): Arrive with a comfortably full bladder.
DEXA: Avoid calcium supplements for 24 hrs.
How long will my visit take?
Arrive 10–15 minutes early. Typical exam times: X-ray 10–15 min, CT 10–20 min, Ultrasound 30–45 min, MRI 30–60 min, DEXA 10–15 min.
When will results be ready?
A board-certified radiologist reads your study and sends a report to your provider—usually within 24–48 hours (STAT exams are expedited).
What payment/coverage options do you accept?
We accept most major insurance plans, transparent self-pay pricing, and attorney liens/LOPs. Call us for estimates and prior-auth help.
